Are you or someone you know looking to replace a bed in your home? Now is the time. South Newton HS Athletics are excited to announce they will be hosting a one-day Mattress Fundraiser on Saturday, February 24th from 10am - 5pm. There will be over 25 beds on display for customers to try. The brand name mattresses are made to order, have full factory warranties, are available in all sizes, and are priced below retail. In addition to beds, there will also be luxury pillows and even adjustable power bases! Delivery & financing is available.

Brad "Bubba" Hahn who is a longtime coach of baseball and football at North White, has been dealing with health issues for quite some time. A benefit chili dinner will be held at North White on Friday, February 16 from 5pm-7:30pm in the Shipyard to help cover his expenses.

Just a reminder that TONIGHT we are hosting Sectional #52 at 5:00 pm CST. Per state rules NO SNHS passes can be accepted. Prices will be $7 per night or $15 per season pass.

Congratulations for receiving a gold rating on their district vocal solos, Allanah Labus, Tatjana Barron, Jocelyn Gluth, Aubrie Jeffery, Tzipporah Holloway, Robert Selvage, Avery Wood, Abby Williams, Ilsa Witvoet, Uriel Holloway, AJ Chilcott, Elianna Holloway and Madeline Kunz. Uriel Holloway and Sophia Arrenholz also received gold ratings on their piano solos.

Tonight's wrestling meet at Lake Station has been cancelled. There is still practice Tonight for all MS wrestlers. Go Rebels!

Join FBLA now to participate in these valuable virtual competitions (listed below). You can try one or ALL. All the events have the opportunity for national placements and cash awards! LifeSmarts is a national educational competition focused on personal finance and consumer topics. Teams will be quizzed about personal finance, technology & workforce preparation, consumer rights & responsibilities, health & safety, and the environment. *FREE *Registration opens 1/29 *2 members per team Stock Market Game: Students work to manage a successful investment portfolio of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, using a hypothetical $100,000. *Register by feb 12 * Each team can have 1-5 participants *The cost is $10.95 per team Virtual Business Personal Finance Challenge: Teams will make personal finance decisions for a simulated person. The concepts students will be managing include opening bank accounts, paying bills, filing taxes, applying for jobs, enrolling in educational courses, paying for goods, applying for credit cards, determining schedules, budgeting, and more. *individually or as a team of up to 3 members *Free *February 5, 2024 - March 1, 2024 Virtual Business Management Challenge: Members test their skills at managing either a bicycle manufacturing business or a blue jeans manufacturing business.
