HS Bulletin for the week of February 2, 2026.

We are excited to share that the Brook Public Library is preparing to launch the third year of our English Language Learning (ELL) Program! This free program is open to any adult in our community and surrounding communities whose primary language is not English. These classes will focus on building skills and confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. Thanks to strong community support and engagement, we’ve seen great success over the past two years, including 24 students graduating in 2025 with an average grade of a solid B.
Please share the attached registration information with any friends or family members who may benefit from this program. It would be a valuable opportunity for parents, guardians, and adult family members seeking to strengthen their English skills for everyday life, work, and communication with the school.
If you have any questions or would like additional materials, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Wright at the library.

Student Council is hosting a blood drive on February 11th! If you are 16 or older, you can donate blood & help save a life!
You can sign up using the QR codes that are on the flyers around the school, by visiting Ms. Doan, or by using this link: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=snewhs
Students who are 16 will need a signed permission slip (17-year-olds & older do not need a permission slip), which can be obtained in Ms. Doan's or Mrs. Kindig's rooms. Student donors need some form of ID that includes their name, picture, and birthday. If you do not have that, Ms. Doan or Mrs. Kindig can help you out. Student donors should eat real food (like a protein!) and DRINK WATER in preparation for donating! You will feel a LOT better and have a much smoother donation if you do those things.
If you have any questions, please see Ms. Doan or Mrs. Kindig.
