Our broadcasting students recently had an exciting opportunity to travel to Watseka and tour a local radio station! During the visit, they got a behind-the-scenes look at how a radio station operates and learned how the team works together to bring broadcasts to life.
Some of our students even had the chance to go on air to help promote the upcoming spring musical, Frozen Jr. 🎭❄️
It was an incredible real-world learning experience and a great opportunity for students to put their broadcasting skills into action!

Come out and support these amazing young artists and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and community! 🖌️✨

Our art students recently enjoyed a wonderful day exploring art and creativity! We started our trip with a quick stop at Harvest Hangout before heading to Lafayette for a day filled with artistic inspiration.
Our first stop was the Purdue Gallery, where students experienced an incredible exhibition featuring senior students’ portfolios focused on industrial artwork. The exhibit was especially exciting because it was interactive, allowing students to engage with the pieces in a unique way.
Next, we visited a smaller gallery that showcased 74 sculptures by Degas, giving students the opportunity to view the work of one of the most influential artists in history.
We then toured another creative space designed to support up-and-coming artists—including dancers, visual artists, and recording artists. After learning about the building and its purpose, students explored three small galleries that featured different art installations.
After a morning full of creativity, we stopped for lunch, made a quick visit to Hobby Lobby to pick up art supplies, and then headed back home.
It was a fantastic day of learning, inspiration, and exploring the arts! 🎨
