Join us Sunday, November 16th, from 1–4 PM at the Kentland Community Center for the Young Entrepreneur Event!
The talented young business owners will be selling all kinds of handmade goodies - including sun catchers, candles, bookmarks, keychains, beeswax chapstick, dog treats, and plenty of sweet treats!
💛 The South Newton PTO will also be there with a booth where you can:
✨ Sign up to get involved with the PTO
🎁 Make monetary donations for the Angel Tree and the upcoming South Newton Christmas Shop
🌟 The Christmas Shop will be held later this season at the school, giving kids a chance to buy small, affordable gifts for their family. Donations collected now will help ensure every child can participate, even if they don’t have the funds to shop.
Bring your family, friends, and holiday spirit — and come support our amazing young entrepreneurs and community programs! ❤️

Student Council is hosting a blood drive on December 3rd! If you are 16 or older, you can donate blood & help save a life!
You can sign up using the QR codes that are on the flyers around the school, by visiting Ms. Doan, or by using this link: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=snewhs.
Students who are 16 will need a signed permission slip (17-year-olds & older do not need one). Those can be found in Ms. Doan's or Mrs. Kindig's rooms.
Student donors need a form of ID with their name, photo, and birthday. If you do not have that, Mrs. Kindig or Ms. Doan can help you out.
Student donors should eat real food (like a protein!) and DRINK WATER in preparation for donating! You will feel a LOT better and have a much smoother donation if you do those things.
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Kindig or Ms. Doan.
