South Newton High School

South Newton High School is proud to announce that Karalyn White has been selected as the Student of the Week!  Karalyn is the daughter of Stephen and Kathleen White of Kentland.  Karalyn recently earned the National Rural and Small Town Award from the College Board.  She is also working as part of the Newton County Student Conservation Internship Program.  She has been involved in the drama program, Student Council, Interact Club, and Spanish Club, and she likes to support our football team.  Karalyn also works at Murphy's in Kentland and attends the Victorious Life Assembly of God Church in Goodland.  Karalyn is looking forward to all of the activities related to being a Senior before attending college to major in Advertising and minor in Agriculture Communications.  Congratulations to Karalyn!
