South Newton High School will be offering Athletic Physicals provided by Dr. Dan Daluga for students who need an IHSAA physical for the 2026-27 school year.

📅 Date: Thursday, April 30
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: SNHS Main Office

Cash or Check Only (Check payable to South Newton Athletic Department)

👩‍⚕️ Who can attend?
Open to students in Grades 5–12 participating in sports

These exams are sports health screenings. If any concerns arise, students may be referred to their primary care provider or another health care specialist for further evaluation before full participation clearance.

It's Elementary 3/11/2026

South Newton School Corporation was placed on a hold from 1:26-1:34 as advised by the Newton County Sheriff's Department. This hold was precautionary due to a police matter off campus. Learning continued in classrooms as normal. No one was granted access to leave or enter the building during the hold.

We are committed to the safety to our South Newton family and wanted to make you aware of the Hold that took place.

🎨✨ Anime Art Class for Young Artists! ✨🎨

Join us at the Brook Iroquois Washington Public Library for a special Anime Art Class for students in grades 3–12 on Saturday, March 14, at 12:30 PM. Participants will learn the fundamentals of anime-style drawing, including character design and shading techniques, as professional art instructors guide them step-by-step through the creative process.

🖌️ Each student will receive their own art supply kit to use during the class and take home to continue developing their skills.

This exciting arts opportunity is made possible by a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission, which helps bring high-quality creative programming to our community.

📌 Registration is required, and space is limited.
